HEALTH CARE

CHECK-UPS and VACCINATIONS
Your pet's health is our first concern. Regular check-ups and vaccinations are offered to aid in giving your pet the best chance of a long, healthy, happy life. Our staff is sensitive to your and your pet's needs and will give your pet the thorough exam and care it requires. Aided by advancing techniques, equipment, and knowledge, our staff has the ability to wisely care for your pets giving them the highest quality treatment.

HOSPITALIZATION
We are equipped to offer many modern diagnostic services including radiology, electrocardiography (EKG), ultrasound, and clinical pathology. Once a diagnosis is made, we are staffed to meet most surgical and medical needs. Treatment is administered as often as needed. The doctor is on duty each weekend and holiday and performs whatever treatment is needed, even though he will not be in the hospital at all times.

Progress reports on hospitalized pets can be obtained at most times during office hours; however, it is usually difficult for the doctor to evaluate each patient and be ready to report before 9:00 A.M., so we ask that you do not call before then. Most surgical and diagnostic procedures are performed between 12:00 and 3:00 P.M. Reports on those patients can be obtained from the secretary or doctor after 3:00.

APPOINTMENTS
Appointments are for your convenience. If we know when you plan to visit the clinic, we can schedule our surgery and other appointments to minimize your waiting time before we see your pet. Those with appointments who arrive on time will be given preference to those without appointments. For the safety of your pet and those of others, we request that you keep your pet on a leash or in a cage during your visit. We take appointments from 9:00 until 12:00 and from 3:30 until 6:00 on week days, Saturday appointments run 9:00 until 12:00

DROP OFF POLICY
As a convenience to you, you may drop-off your pet for the day. No prior appointment is necessary as long as you do not need to see the doctor at the time of the drop-off. We do ask that you fill out a short patient information form so that we will know the services that you need. If your pet has a medical problem, the form will allow you to give us the information we need for proper diagnosis and treatment. Please leave a phone number so that we can reach you during the day. Though appointments don't begin until 9:00, you may drop your pet off as early as 7:00. Our staff is here early.

PAYMENT
Payment for services rendered may be made with cash or check. If credit is needed, we will also accept Visa or Mastercard.
